Institute Perspectives is carrying out a number of different types of projects: local, national and international cooperation projects, Erasmus+ projects, and the organisation’s own youth initiatives.
These are some of the current projects we are working on at the moment:
Summer Academies "Perspectives"
The summer academies "Perspectives" consist of events during the summer holidays that take place in rural areas. So far they have taken place in Bulgaria, but from next year they will also take place abroad. They train a group of young people (usually between 20 and 50 people) on topics related to European values, entrepreneurship, tolerance, youth work, inclusion, etc... These initiatives have been developed since 6 years ago.
The Danube Survivor
The Danube Survivor Project for Inclusive and Sustainable Development ” is an Erasmus+ project which aims to develop the rural areas of Bulgaria with fewer opportunities. We do activities related to nature and landscape such as cleaning the route for bicycles, creating greenhouses and eco-classrooms and while doing all these activities we work as an international team. The project supports non-formal education. For this reason we also have workshops and community engagement -activities for Bulgarian children.
English support in schools
Our foreign volunteers go daily to different primary schools with the intention of supporting the English classes. More than 50 pupils in the city of Svishtov are involved in this project, which is very positive for their progress with the language.
